Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

The document “Information on Personal Data Processing” (hereinafter the “information memorandum”) has been prepared in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 (GDPR) and Act No. 101/2000 Coll. on the Protection of Personal Data (“ZOOÚ”), as amended.

Key Terms

Personal Data – including but not limited to: full name, business ID, VAT ID, residence, delivery address, telephone number, e-mail address, IP address, bank account number, order details, and other identifiers.

This list is not exhaustive – if you provide us with additional data (e.g., in documents or communication), we may process those as well.

2. Method of Processing Personal Data

Personal data is processed by us or by authorized processors. We ensure security and apply technical and organizational measures to prevent unauthorized access, loss, destruction, or misuse.

The processing period depends on legal retention obligations and contractual commitments, including mandatory archiving periods.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

1. Legitimate interest (e.g., complaints management, statistics, marketing under Act No. 480/2004 Coll.).
2. Fulfilment of legal obligations (accounting, employment law, and similar).
3. Your consent (for purposes stated in the consent form).
4. Contract performance (order processing, delivery of goods, services).

Items 1, 2, and 4 do not require your consent.

4. Data Recipients

Data may be transferred to carriers, payment service providers, or partners handling complaints. Examples: Zásilkovna, PPL, Česká pošta, Fio banka, PayPal, and others.

5. Data Processors

Personal data is also processed by contracted partners according to our instructions – for example, Shoptet (e-commerce), Heureka (reviews), Google (Analytics), Facebook (login).

6. Cookies

We use cookies for website functionality, traffic measurement, and marketing (Google Consent Mode v2). You can disable cookies in your browser, but the site may not work properly.

7. Additional Information

1. By providing your data, processing begins immediately.
2. Data may be retained even after termination of processing if required by law.
3. You are responsible for providing accurate information.
4. Data will not be transferred to third countries unless legally required.
5. No automated decision-making or profiling is carried out.
6. Premises may be monitored by cameras for security; recordings may be used for legal or insurance purposes.

8. Data Subject Rights

You have the right to:

• withdraw consent,
• receive information about processing,
• access, correct, erase, or restrict data,
• object to processing,
• file a complaint with the Data Protection Authority (www.uoou.cz).

Requests are handled without undue delay, at the latest within 30 days. In the case of manifestly unfounded or repetitive requests, we may charge an administrative fee.
