I. Introduction

This document “Information on the Processing of Personal Data” (also referred to as the “Privacy Memorandum”) is prepared in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR) and Act No. 101/2000 Coll. on Personal Data Protection (ZOOÚ), including related regulations.

Key Definitions

Personal Data – e.g. name, surname, address, phone number, e-mail, IP address, account number, order details, and other identifiers that allow you to be identified.

This list may not be exhaustive – if you provide us with additional information (in documents, e-mails, by phone, or in person), we may also process it.

II. How We Process Personal Data

We process data ourselves or through trusted processors acting under our instructions. We comply with security principles and apply technical and organizational measures to protect data against loss, damage, or unauthorized access. Data may be disclosed to third parties only with your consent or where required by law.

III. Legal Grounds for Processing

1. Legitimate interest (e.g. complaints, statistics, customer communications under Act No. 480/2004 Coll.).
2. Legal obligations (accounting, employment law, etc.).
3. Your consent (for specific purposes outlined in the consent form).
4. Contractual necessity (order processing, delivery, services).

Points 1, 2, and 4 do not require your consent.

IV. Data Recipients (Other Controllers)

Depending on the shipping or payment method chosen, your data may be shared with delivery companies (e.g. Zásilkovna, PPL, Czech Post, DPD, Toptrans) or payment providers (e.g. ThePay, Fio Bank, PayPal). Data may also be passed on to suppliers or service centers for product warranty and repair handling.

V. Data Processors

We use processors who handle data strictly under our instructions – e.g. Heureka (Verified by Customers), e-shop platforms (Shoptet / FastCentrik), accounting and hosting providers, Google (Analytics), Facebook (social login & marketing).

VI. Cookies

Our site uses cookies for functionality and visitor tracking. Third-party cookies (Google Analytics, Google Ads) may also be used for marketing. You may disable cookies in your browser, but please note this may affect website functionality.

VII. Additional Information

• Processing begins once you provide your data.
• Data may be retained after contract termination if required by law.
• No transfer to third countries unless legally required.
• No automated profiling or decision-making takes place.
• Security cameras may be installed in our premises for safety reasons.

VIII. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Withdraw consent at any time.
• Request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of your data.
• Object to processing.
• File a complaint with the Data Protection Authority.

Requests are processed without undue delay, at the latest within 30 days.

1. All legal relationships are governed by Czech law.
2. This document may be amended; the current version is always available on our website.
3. This Privacy Policy is effective from 25 May 2018.
